Since 1981, the SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) defines how internet hosts can
send e-mail, and it is still widespread. Newer social media web sites may strive to
replace it for certain tasks, but even they still require SMTP, even if it is just for
sending verification mails on account registration.
But, while practically every company which is present on the internet has some idea
of web sites, proper handling of SMTP related processes sometimes creates
challenges. No matter if your problem relates to inbound or outbound mail processing,
be sure to contact me if you need a competent partner for building mail
infrastructure which runs smoothly.
